Ed Kitlowski from the East Coast of America became our first customer to design his own pair of Buchanan Brogues, using 2 different leather colours, and his Heritage McNaughton Tartan to create a very Unique looking pair of Brogues to match his Piping Regalia.

Ed is a member of the ‘Catamount’ Pipe band who recently placed 4th in their Class at the World Pipe Band Championships in Glasgow. The event was attended by Pipe Bands from all over the World, performing at Glasgow Green over 2 days.

It was a pleasure to meet Ed and his partner, and we hope they had a great time visiting Scotland!

Buchanan Bespoke will be conducting Bespoke shoe fitting days where you will be measured using our 'TechMed 3D Scanning device' and then a completely bespoke pair of shoes will be created for your foot shape, and you will have the freedom to create a pair of shoes to your own design using a large variety of Italian and English leathers.

HE’S made in Scotland from girders and now Sir Alex Ferguson is set to receive the ultimate retirement present – tartan Irn-Bru slippers.

The fizzy drinks firm ordered a unique set of orange size nines with their red and blue plaid for the
Man United manager.

They will be sent to his Cheshire home later this week in plenty of time for Govan’s most famous export to try them on when he gets home from holiday early next month.

Irn-Bru chose footwear designers Buchanan Bespoke, a Govan firm who made a pair of brown leather brogues for Fergie last year.

In this nostalgic Diamond Jubilee year, sentiments are running deep for all things British-made. One Scottish (Glasgow-based) footwear company which has for nearly 90 years provided high-quality tailored shoes to men, have taken on new apprentices to teach them the craft of luxury footwear production.  To get them off to a good start, the apprentices recently met their football hero, Sir Alex Ferguson, manager of Manchester United.
